Client Onboarding & Engagement Kit
For consultants, agencies, bookkeepers and coaches with 1 to 25 people starting client work on a fixed fee, retainer or hourly basis
One written path from first offer to every change: a proposal with priced options and a valid-until date, a Statement of Work with an included / not included table, revision limits by deliverable type and milestone billing, a Change Request, a Change Order signed before the work, and 15 short emails for the moments scope slips. The Proposal & Change Log shows your win rate, open pipeline, proposals past their date and the hours you gave away.
Built for agencies and consultancies that sell fixed-fee projects and retainers and lose margin to quick favors, third revision rounds and re-briefs nobody priced. The proposal gives the client options to choose from and a date it stays open. The Statement of Work names what is not included as clearly as what is, defines a revision round for each kind of deliverable, and states the out-of-scope rate. Anything new goes on a Change Request and is priced on a Change Order with its effect on the schedule and the new contract value; no out-of-scope work starts until both parties sign.
The workbook logs every proposal with its valid-until date and flags the ones still waiting past it; the Dashboard shows win rate by service line, open pipeline and won value. Engagements carry their fee and current contract value, and the Engagements sheet totals approved, pending and rejected changes, and the work you chose to absorb, by engagement. Contract rules differ by state, so none are stated: each legal-weight document carries a governing-jurisdiction line and a review block. A completed example follows one website project from proposal to its third change.
